Plastic-
many sex toys are made from it. All kinds of bullets, basic vibrators are made from plastic. There is one particular type of plastic - 'ABS'. - is used by some manufactures. - it is more shock-resistant, and can be moulded easily.
Plastic toys are very hygenic and easy to clean.

Vinyl PVC
Quite soft and more flexible type of plastic. Vibrators and dildos made of PVC create more natural feel. Most of standard types of vibrators are made of PVC. You can also find 'more sophisticated' ones like inflatable butt-plugs made also from PVC. These vibes often go in pearlised finish or rainbow stylee colours which makes them more female- friendly.This material is more difficult to clean, and can crack over time. Sometimes does not feel great.

Latex - Rubber
Very often used for vibrators and dildos that are meant to be bendable. Traditionally flesh coloured or black – lends all its properties to very soft and most flexible variations of sex toys. Rubber ones usually have their patterns quite intricate. Sext toys made from rubber are generally low-cost ones. However may be quite difficult to clean. Unfortunately rubber is quite smelly and some people may be alergic. Lower quality moulding – may show falws overtime.

Jelly Rubber
New form of rubber – more technologically advanced – called “Jelly Rubber” is clear – and can be coloured to every imaginable colour and shade. Flexible, easy to clean jelly rubber is a material for majority of clear vibartors, dildos and anal toys. Almost every shape is possible here, quite easy to clean. It is also cheap - although this material is a little smelly.

'Real-Skin'
Real skin – another tech - type of rubber developed to mimic human skin. Sex toys made from real-skin may be preffered by many users because of their incredibly life-like feel. You can find many masturbators, eggs and bullets made from “real-skin”. Other names you can come across – “ero-skin”, “cyber skin”.“Real-skin” is extremely realistic, flexible, and these properties make it quite costly. It needs to be looked after carefully.

Stainless Steel
Despite its heavy weight, stainless steel is also a material used for sex toys. Some people may like hard-edged appearance and cold hard feel of steel. There are few vibrator types on the market made of steel, although it is mainly used to make butt plugs. Steel sex toys are very easy to clean, indestructible, and expensive.

Silicone
Every sex toy user seems to love silicone sex toys, because of its exceptional feel. It is never very hard, but not too soft either. Flexible but firm. Silicone can be formed in every shape, therefore there are many varieties of silicone vibrators and dildos available on the market, in every possible colour. Silicone does not smell, it is hypoalergic, and easy to clean. It is quite expensive though.

Glass
Sex toys made of glass became very popular recently, despite their price. Processed correctly, glass can be a great material for sex toys. Medical grade of glass – guarantees they are pretty tough (same type of glass is also used for space shuttle windows).
We would recommend buying glass sex toys only from trusted manufacturers, since those imported from the east may be of dubious quality. You can warm them up in water or chill in refrigerator, should you desire new experiences.
Unfrotunately glass vibrators do not come cheap – since very often each piece is hand-made. They will last a lifetime if you lok after them properly. Easy to clean, come in attractive colours.
