However, you have to consider that your business should not be about making money just during the startup days, it should also be about making money over time, working hard to make it succeed and making it last for a long time. What we do espouse is that you should take a holistic, long term end to end view of your business, not the short term wow I can a make a million bucks overnight. I say it a zillion times, don't fall for the hype. Below I list a few forms of revenue generation strategies and if you follow these ideas you can be sure that you will be able to make money online, over time from the internet consistently and more effectively than before. To start you have to remember that quality of your internet business should match the quality of a business that you would run if it was retail or any in person business. In an in person business, your service would always be your top priority. When you serve people with good quality in the beginning of your business and you continue to do the same thing over and over again, then your business will not grow. Next remember that all people are not the same and unfortunately never satisfied, so doing the same thing over and over again will not help you. This means you need to find innovative ways to keep your old customers loyal and at the same time devise new ways to attract new customers. Bottom line is enlisting your customers in helping your business succeed. Keep the quality of your products at a certain level and then continually improve the quality. By making the quality of your products better and better, you can be sure that more and more people will buy your products and they will remain loyal and competitive. This ensures your existing clients will make referrals for you. Another money making strategy is to devise a number of ways to make money. This means devise a number of ways to solve problems for your customers. So if you are doing article marketing, then make sure your articles address a number of issues targeted specifically to your target market problems. Make money via email and get people to subscribe to your autoresponder via a link on your website. Try to advertise as much as you can. Build your customer relationship strategy and use your autoresponder more. Then advertise and sell products in your newsletters. Inform them about your online business and the new products you are offering. Consistent communication is a core principle to all make money online strategies. Finally take care of the store and remember that as people review your website they are making judgments about you. However I always caution my customers to not be seduced by the internet website development world. I always say a decent good clean website, with okay graphics but awesome marketing and real income is always better then an awesome, gorgeous website, little marketing and no income. So do not be seduced by the pretty website hype, the make money overnight hype and really focus on revenue generation activities.
