How To Make A Safe Bonfire

If or when you have a bonfire, you need to watch the fire so it does not get out of control or spread and cause a bigger fire. It can cause a wildfire that can burn down trees, can hurt the animals, and can hurt or kill people, too. If the fire gets out of control, it can spread and get your neighbor's house on fire, burn up their yards, and anything that is in their yard will catch on fire.

There will be smoke everywhere, and it will be hard to see what is going on. The smoke will make your eyes burn and it will make them all red and irritated, which will make it hard to keep them open so don't get too close to the fire for your own health. Watch when you light the fire because it can set your skin on fire or your clothes on fire as well.

The first thing you need to do is get all the stuff that you want to burn in a pile, and then you need to put a lot of rocks around all that stuff so the fire cannot get out. Then you need to get the fuel that you want to use to burn your trash. Light it up and get away from it as fast as you can so you do not get hurt because the flames can be really big.

You will need to wear a cloth over your nose and mouth so the smoke does not get in your lungs because it will give you breathing problems. Also keep any children far away from the bonfire; it is very dangerous for them to be near. Make sure it is far away from the house or houses so the fire will not get to them or anybody for that matter.

Don't put it under or close to a tree because it will catch the tree or trees on fire. Also make sure there is no debris on the ground and if there is, clean it up before you think about making a bonfire. Make sure there are no dry weeds or leaves on the ground because that will cause a wildfire to spread over a large area of land that will burn everything to the ground, and it will destroy lives. Make sure there is no can in the bonfire because it can explode or it can fly out of the fire and hit someone and hurt them.
