There are so many differing options when it comes to treating your skin that it is often difficult to decide which is going to be the best bang for your buck. A big question that many would ask themselves is, "Do I really need skincare products?" To illustrate the answer, here is an example. Not long ago I went in for a pedicure. Mind you, this is only the second one I had ever had. It was a highly recommended experience, and it was very enjoyable. At one point the woman started to use lotion and such on my legs to give me a massage. I glanced down and noticed something very peculiar about my legs. Where the lotion had been applied my legs were a nice smooth healthy color, but the skin toward my knees was looking much paler. I examined my skin and saw that the skin toward to knees was dry and cracked which explained the white and flaky color it had as opposed to the moisturized and fulfilled texture and color to the other skin. What is the importance of using these products? Your skin is a living organism and requires nourishment just like anything else. You need to take care of your immune system by consuming large portions of Vitamin C. In the same way, your skin needs certain vitamins and exposure to certain products in order to keep it healthy. These products can be either synthetics or completely organic. There cannot be any margin in between. So which is better? The world's advances in technology have given way to awesome chemical procedures and products that replicate the ingredients brought out of nature; however, these products come with consequences. Synthetics have been treated with so many chemicals that when they are applied to your skin, the toxins penetrate. When those toxins enter your skin they travel through the blood stream to all parts of the body. They debilitate immunity and even the flow of oxygen to the brain. Organic products, however, have the same great properties as the synthetic products, but they are one hundred percent natural. The ingredients to the products are grown in select locations so as to verify that there were no chemicals used to treat the plants before gathering them to be used in the products you will later apply to your own skin. The choice is simple. Choose to use products that are healthy and clean.
